I don't see why this issue would occur (assuming URL rewrites are configured properly). Would you be able to provide the value of $query that led to this error?

$query ended with an &. Sorry, I cannot provide you the actual value, since currently my installation fails even earlier with:

With what version of PHP and composer and Apache and ... exactly are you able to run the software?

I'm afraid this is the first time I've seen an installation fail so early.

I was able to get the installation working with both Caddy and nginx as web server. The Caddy configuration is quite straightforward:

<listen host and/or port> {
	root <www directory>
	file_server

	php_fastcgi <php-fpm server and port>
	tls <tls configuration here>
}

From your logs, it looks like it's using IPv6 - that has never been tested.
