Hi @jackal1-66, the failing test is completely strange. I cannot reproduce it locally, moreover the change I made is literally one line... From the error it seems that library and/or includes were not loaded correctly, I really didn't change anything there.

I debugged the issue a bit more, indeed it's not your fault. The test runs fine when you load the environment because STARlight_ROOT is defined, however at build time of o2dpg-sim-tests the environment variable is not there. I opened a PR alisw/alidist#5968 to fix this issue. When that is merged your test should succeed. I tested multiple solutions, but this seems to be the cleanest one I could think of.
