Support request for Synaptics fingerprint reader 06cb:00be (ThinkPad L14 Gen 1)

Hello,
I'm trying to get fingerprint authentication working on my ThinkPad L14 Gen 1 (Intel i5) running Kubuntu. The laptop has a Synaptics fingerprint reader with USB ID 06cb:00be.

Device Info:
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 06cb:00be Synaptics, Inc.

What I've Tried:
python-validity: Device is detected but fails with "Unknown flash IC. JEDEC id=ffff:ffff" error
Manually added device ID to python-validity's supported devices list, but initialization fails due to unsupported flash memory chip

Request:
Could you please add support for this device? It appears to be a variant of the 06cb:009a that's already supported, but with different flash memory hardware.
I'm happy to provide additional debugging information, logs, or help test patches if needed.
