community profile metrics API to work for forked repo #42293

The Github REST api provides info for community metrics
What changes are you suggesting?
On REST api info for community metrics there is a statement :
Returns all community profile metrics for a repository. The repository cannot be a fork.
For me, on my project, api community profile helps a lot to know more about a repository, and I'd like to have this working even on forked repos.
Why there is this current limitation ?
