Evaluate KDE Plasma alongside, or in place of GNOME

Both Plasma and GNOME are high quality desktop environments. While Apollo currently uses GNOME, Plasma would also be a solid option for Apollo. Look at building an apollo-plasma image, or using Plasma as the default and leave apollo-gnome as an option.
