Description
Describe the bug
In Minecraft 1.20.1, 4-block wide (Mega) trees (such as Mega Spruce, Mega Jungle, etc.) are spawning with their "Rooty Soil" block exactly one block above the actual terrain level. This results in the entire tree floating in the air with a 1-block gap underneath the root block. This occurs during natural world generation.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Install Dynamic Trees for 1.20.1 Forge.
Create a new world (Default or any world type).
Locate a biome where Mega trees spawn (e.g., Old Growth Pine Taiga).
Observe that the base of the 2x2 trees is floating.
Screenshots
Rendering Glitches
No.
Additional context
The issue persists even when Dynamic Trees is the only mod installed. I have checked the configuration files dynamictrees-common.toml and dynamictrees-server.toml, but there are no settings available to adjust the world generation height offset for these species. It appears the mod is miscalculating the surface heightmap specifically for 2x2 structures in this version.
Crashes
Are you running the latest version of Dynamic Trees? Yes.
What addons are you using? Nature's Spirit and bloomingNature (but the issue persists without any addons).
Are you on the latest version for each addon? Yes.
